The Stanstead College community was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of teacher Adam Kulakowsky this past weekend. Our first thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Mr. Kulakowsky’s family. We cannot imagine the impact of such a loss in their lives.
We also mourn Mr. Kulakowsky’s passing as a school community. Though he joined our faculty only this past September, Mr. Kulakowsky quickly became invaluable as a teacher, coach, advisor and friend. He taught Grade 11 Economics and Contemporary World as well as Grade 10 Culture & Citizenship. He was our junior boys soccer coach this past fall and was currently coaching our senior girls basketball team. With his affable charm, vast knowledge, athleticism, keen sense of humour and love for educating young minds, Mr. Kulakowsky was an integral and much-loved member of our community.
