Athlete of the Week: Gabriel Poitras

This Grade 10 student from Stanstead, Quebec had an incredible weekend of hockey at the U18 Galt Hockey Tournament. He led his team to a perfect 4-0 record, allowing only 4 goals all tournament. He saved the best for last with a 1-0 shutout in the final versus a strong Alexander Galt team. He was named Player of the Game twice over the course of the tournament and really was a stone wall between the pipes all weekend. For putting the team on his back and allowing them to bring home their first ever tournament victory, Athlete of the Week, from U18 hockey, Gabriel Poitras.
