Athlete of the Week: Mauricio Lopez

This Grade 12 student-athlete from Mexico City, Mexico has been a dominant force on the senior boys soccer team. Mauricio Lopez was selected as the Spartan defensive player of the game against Massey-Vanier Regional, last Friday. Organizing the backline, solid communication, good 1 vs 1 defending, and then contributing to the offence with the game tying goal on a bullet of a free kick. His efforts have merited this noteworthy Athlete of the Week.
